Well for US, a squad full of M1 Garand Riflemen would be very nice to see at events, NCOs and Officers with Thompsons and Carbines!

I think a fair few of the airborne at the Carbines because of the compact size.

And an approximate price if you've got that as well lol

Things have gone a bit quiet on this project for the last couple of months.

Has anything happened about this yet?

cant wait to get get another carbine after selling my old one lol

are you leaking annnnny details atall warren? such as what the gun is based on ? M14 socom?!

when can I put my name down for one lol

99% of the existing gearboxes are too large to fit in a M1 Carbine, including the version 7. Carbines're quite tiny in comparison to many other main weapons..

Which is why its taking time to get right. I have every confidence that it will be great.

Though could you use an AEP gearbox? After all it was an alternative weapon to a pistol so would give similar power

A VZ61 scorpion gearbox I believe is the best option. Its what I woud use and expect warren is too. They put out about 250-260fps but upgraded and with a longer barrel to fit the carbine 300+ is doable.

Yup, MP7 or VZ61 AEP gearbox would be my guess too.

So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."

I have made one with the scorpion, gear box is the right size and the mags look right. The MP7 wouldn't be any good as the mags in the handle.

It's not got the range of my Garand, it's more like pistol ranges but as the M1 carbine used pistol ammo it's spot on.

I'm sure Warren will cast a top reciever that looks like the original, but i have just used the scorpion as is and it doesn't look out of place.

I saw one this Wkend at Carentan using a Scorpion. Not sure if that was yours, but it looked damn nice.

Any news warren?
